MAKE A RESERVATION. Go to the Reservation page, input desired dates of availability, and follow prompts to reserve your Hideaway RV Rental unit or call (765) 609-7634. We accept credit and debit cards, personal or company checks and cash. The minimum reservation is 3-nights and must be made no less than 3-days prior to departure. No same day rentals allowed.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT. A reservation deposit of $300 or 25% whichever is greater is required to hold a reservation of two weeks or less; if three weeks or more, an entire weeks rental is required. Reservation deposits are applied to actual rental. We do not guarantee your reservation until deposit is received. Full payment is due 14-days prior to day of departure or delivery including balance of rental fees, security damage deposit, insurance waiver and any and all fees and charges. Personal or company checks are accepted up to 14-days of departure date. Fees are subject to a 7% Indiana State Sales Tax.
RESERVATION CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY. In order to receive a refund, reservation cancellations are required no less than 30-days prior to the actual rental start date and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled 29-days or less from the rental start date result in forfeiture of the entire reservation deposit including reservations made 30-days or less of the rental start date.
SECURITY DEPOSIT. There is a mandatory security damage deposit of $500 and is fully refunded within 7 - 10 days of unit return if terms of the rental agreement are met and there are no problems or damages. Renter agrees and understands that unit cannot be returned in a substantially less clean condition than when it left and there must not be any interior or exterior damage or fees will be incurred. Please refer to the Rental Terms and Conditions.
CLEANING, SANITATION AND PREP FEE. There is a mandatory $125 - $135 fee for cleaning, sanitation and prep work and includes waste tanks evacuation. Renters are required to dispose of the contents of the holding tanks and to return the unit in clean condition. It is then our responsibility to perform measures to guarantee that all customers are getting an exceptionally clean and sanitized unit. A reasonable fee not to exceed $350 to clean the unit is assessed if unit is returned substantially less clean than when rented.
PET/ANIMAL AND SMOKING POLICY. No pets, animals or smoking are permitted in unit at any time. A minimum fine of $350 will be assessed against your security damage deposit per incident if any evidence of an animal or smoking is found in the unit.
AWNING USE POLICY. The rental insurance no longer pays for awning claims, therefore if a renter utilizes the awning and it is damaged, renter is entirely responsible for awning repair and/or replacement expense.
ACCIDENTS. If involved in an accident you must notify dealer within 24-hours. A full written police accident report must be submitted to dealer upon return. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your security damage deposit.
RENTER AND DRIVER REQUIREMENTS. Renter must be present at time of pick up or unit delivery. If utilizing a credit or debit card, name on card must match name on license. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with picture. Additional drivers are permitted but must fulfill requirements as outlined above. Tow vehicle must carry insurance. We provide a Trailer Extension of Liability for Non-Owned Trailer form for you to present to your insurance company. Renters must complete a Renter's Orientation walk-through.
RENTAL UNIT PICK UP AND DROP OFF POLICY. We strive to ensure that customer expectations are met and that all customers are treated fairly, honestly and respectfully. We provide personalized service, regular unit maintenance and exceptionally clean and well organized units. (1) Units are scheduled for pick up and drop off on a regular basis consequently there is no time credit for arriving late to pick up a unit. (2) Alternatively, units returned late will be assessed $25 per hour or unit per day rate whichever is greater. We will not refund any of the time if you return the unit earlier than the date or time due in.
Policies
BREAKDOWNS AND REPAIRS. Our units are serviced pre-season and at various intervals as needed, however if a breakdown does occur any repair under $150 may be done. Any repair over $150 must have prior authorization from dealer. Please save and submit all receipts for repairs along with replacement parts for reimbursement. Refunds will not be made without receipts and without replacement parts. We do not provide reimbursement for lost time or accommodations. We will however credit each night that unit is in repair and not operational. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator microwave, appliances and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for repair time to these items.
FREEZING TEMPERATURE RENTALS. Units can be rented during winter months but must leave winterized and once in non-freezing temperatures, unit may be de-winterized by an authorized RV dealer and upon returning to freezing temperatures, unit MUST be re-winterized. The renter is fully responsible for any and all damages caused by freezing temperatures to the unit.
